New York Fashion Week

There was a good variety of trends at New York Fashion Week this season. All over it was showing a lot of confidence, optimism and joy. I guess that it is a sigh of a new shift. A shift which means that we're done with the recession and the celebration of the beautyful woman takes over. We like it a lot!!

Marc Jacobs and Anna Sui are very into the 70's chic. From Marc Jacobs' high streed fashion glamour, filled with optimistic berry colours and sexy silk maxi dresses, to Anna Sui's more urban bohemian Janice Joplin goes farmer girl feel.

The big trend of NYFW is the "white-out" trend. Back to the 90's minimalism àla Calvin Klein.
Here are some of the many designers: f.l. BCBG Max Azria, Lacoste, Calvin Klein and Tess Giberson.

Other designers like Diane von Furstenberg takes inspiration from the greek mythology, her collection is called Godess.(see film next post)
